Overview
About Me
Hey there! I’m Kennedi - I’m 29, and working toward my dream of becoming a transpersonal therapist. I’m finishing up my bachelor’s (graduating December ‘18, woo!), work at an outpatient program for people with addictions and co-occurring disorders, and do some reiki on the side. I came to Nashville by way of NYC, and grew up in Virginia.
I believe in making deep heart-centered connections, and am genuinely pretty awful at small talk. I’m possibly even worse at cooking, so it’s probably best to look elsewhere if you’re hoping for home-cooked meals.
I love to be outside, and am working on doing so more regularly - humidity be damned! I am a fan of reading, general frolicking, being in and around water, dive bars, laughing to the point of crying at things that are objectively not that funny, and alliteration.
I have a pup named Squeegee, who aspires to be a siren one day and practices by imitating them whenever he hears them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their lives. It’s also important to me help people out when I’m able, whether by giving them a place to crash or offering my take on Nashville.
On the flip side, I love to travel and have been doing more of it in the past year. Couchsurfing makes traveling much more feasible, and it gives me a chance to explore new places through the eyes of locals to some extent, which I greatly prefer to the tourist point of view.
