About Me

I'm a 35-year-old Zambian man with a heart full of wonder and a passion for life. I'm a bit of a hobbit at heart, just like the lovable Baggins family from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" (yes, I'm a fan!). I adore my country, Zambia, and all its beauty, but I also love exploring new lands and meeting fellow adventurers.

When I'm not working, you can find me indulging in delicious food, savoring a glass of good wine, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family. I'm a social butterfly at heart, always eager to make new connections and share stories.

But don't be fooled - I also have a thirst for adventure! Whether it's hiking through the wilderness, trying new foods, or taking a spontaneous road trip, I'm always up for a challenge.

As for the question everyone asks - "What's the best country you've ever visited?" - I say, there's no such thing! Each country has its unique charm, culture, and beauty. I've fallen in love with every place I've visited, and I'm sure you have too!

On a more personal note, I'm a Christian and my faith plays an important role in my life. I'm always happy to learn about and respect the beliefs and practices of others, and I believe that our differences are what make life interesting.

So, if you're looking for a friendly, adventurous, and slightly quirky host, you've come to the right place! Let's share some laughs, stories, and maybe even a glass of wine or two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm thrilled to be a part of the Couchsurfing community, and I absolutely love hosting travelers from all walks of life! For me, hosting is about so much more than just providing a place to stay - it's about sharing experiences, learning about different cultures, and making meaningful connections with like-minded people.

I believe that cultural exchange is one of the most powerful ways to break down barriers and foster understanding between people from different backgrounds. By hosting travelers, I get to learn about their customs, traditions, and ways of life, and I'm always amazed by the diversity and richness of human experience.

But it's not just about learning - it's also about sharing my own culture and community with others. I love introducing my guests to local hidden gems, trying out new foods and exploring the city like a local.

For me, the best part of hosting is the friendships that I form with my guests. I've had the pleasure of hosting people from all over the world, and I've been amazed by the connections that we've made. From laughing together over dinner to exploring the city together, I've had some of the most memorable experiences of my life through Couchsurfing.

So, if you're looking for a warm and welcoming host who is passionate about cultural exchange and making new friends, then I'm your guy! Let's share some amazing experiences together and create some unforgettable memories!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my true passion! There's something about the rhythm, melody, and harmony that speaks directly to my soul. Music has a way of inspiring me, lifting my mood, and transporting me to another world. I love listening to a wide range of genres, from classical to contemporary, and everything in between.

When it comes to movies, I'm a bit of a romantic at heart. Two of my all-time favorite films are "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Titanic". There's something about the epic storytelling, memorable characters, and cinematic grandeur that leaves me in awe. I love getting lost in the world of Middle-earth or the tragic love story of Jack and Rose.

But my love for these stories doesn't stop at the movies - I'm also an avid reader! I've devoured the books that inspired these films, and I must say, there's something special about immersing myself in the written word. Whether it's J.R.R. Tolkien's masterful world-building or Nicholas Sparks' poignant storytelling, I'm always up for a great read.

Speaking of great reads, I'm also passionate about books that inspire personal growth and professional development. Some of my favorite books include "Business by the Book", which offers practical wisdom on how to build a successful business; "Valuable Content Marketing", which provides insights on how to create compelling content that resonates with audiences; and "The 5 Love Languages", which offers a fascinating exploration of how we express and receive love.

Overall, music, movies, and books are my favorite ways to unwind, escape, and recharge. They inspire me, educate me, and bring me joy - and I'm always eager to discover new favorites!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2018, I embarked on a life-changing experience as a volunteer at Growing Hope, and I've been committed to their cause ever since. Volunteering with Growing Hope has been a truly unforgettable journey, and I've gained invaluable insights about the world and about myself. It's been an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact, and I'm grateful to be a part of their team.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share my Zambian culture with you! I can teach you about our vibrant traditions, customs, and way of life. We can even cook some delicious traditional meals together!

Language lovers, I'd be happy to teach you how to speak and write in Nyanja or Bemba, two beautiful African languages spoken in Zambia!
