To be able to meet locals anywhere I travel to and get a taste of local living anywhere I go.
More importantly, to meet other travelers. Any couchsurfer I've ever met had interesting stories and life experiences to share.
It takes a special kind of person to explore a country or city that is unfamiliar to them. Anyone who enjoys living and exploring this life and world or welcomes the world to their home is awesome.
