ABOUT ME
My profile pictures are from over 15 years ago when I lived in Naples and hosted CSers whenever I could. I lived in Pozzoulie 5 years and Vomero 2 years. I retired from the U.S. Air Force and returned to the U.S. for 13 years. Now I'm back in Italy staying on the other side of the Italian boot almost directly across from Naples in a little town called Guglionesi ~15km from the Adriatic Sea and the port town of Termoli. I expect to be able to start hosting CSers again by the end of the year -fingers crossed.
I can find positive perspective on everything and really enjoy meeting new people, especially when they want to take me out of the house and see the local area. I love to see other places and think trains are the best way to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Before discovering Cs, my biggest regret was the limited number of people I've been able to share the Italian/Naples experience with. Now thanks to CS, I have everything! I'm especially interested in learning how other people are spending their time on this planet and because of this my world is expanding by leaps and bounds. I'm looking forward to meeting more CSers soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several people have visited me in Italy. Many were friend's of Bill. Some of them I've travelled with for short periods and some I've played guide to in the local area. I've had 1st guest experience in Switzerland with two INCREDIBLE hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosted CSers and been hosted! Also, I lived in a bungalow on a Mediterranean beach for 3 years. Learned to fly solo in 2 types of Cessna aircraft - to land too! Also had 1/2 hour flying lesson in a helicopter. Rode my HD down Almalfi coast. Drove a convertable up California's Pacific Coast-Highway 1. Played Black Jack in Las Vegas, Atlantic city, and Monte Carlo. I've seen the kings' tombs in Graceland and Jeruselum. I went scuba diving in Red Sea. I've been diving at the sunken city of Baia and I've touched the Sea Godess of Nissida. My son and I have taken advanced and rescue diving courses with PADI and have had incredible diving vacations in Bahamas and Mexico.
Teach, Learn, Share
How to love life w/o chemicals -except coffee/chocolate - those I've not given up and so I can't tell you how. I can teach you how to roast green coffee beans, grind them, and then brew it in your choice of 7 differnt ways. And I can show you where to find the sunken city of Baia.
I've learned to exist without a job to keep me occupied; to speak Italian and am interested in anything else that you have time to share with me. I am especially open to energy works and desperately need to learn how to cook for more than one.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to breath underwater.
