ABOUT ME

In June I just graduated with a BS in civil engineering, and next fall (if all goes as planned) I will be starting graduate school in sustainable urban development. I love thinking about how to make the places we live in both more sustainable and more interesting. It is the drive to find out what makes places and exciting to live in that made me want to travel during this year between studying. That, and a more general desire to become more connected with the rest of the world, to find of what people from other places are into, and to experience lifestyles different than my California suburban upbringing, from urban to rural.

Interests

I love walking around neighborhoods, browsing unique shops, playing boardgames, hanging out with small groups of friends, going to pubs, nerding out, building stuff, gardening, video games, good music and good conversations.
