ABOUT ME

My name is Kenny and I'm 23 years old living in beautiful Gainesville, Florida. I've lived in Florida since I was 11 years old and before that in Santa Rosa, California. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors just ridin' bikes or lounging in a park. This usually means limited to no television. I also really enjoy arts and crafts, drawing, and classical music. I really enjoy cooking and like teaching a few new things to the kids that I look after. I can also bake some pretty good chocolate chip cookies! I'm really playful, fun and funky and am looking forward to planting myself in a foreign country. I'm super easy to live with and have already had experience living abroad with an Austrian family when I was living in Vienna. I still speak a good bit of German and am also eager to learn a new language fluently. I attend Sante Fe Community college and plan on studying forestry. I live in downtown Gainesville in an apartment that I share with my roommate Raven. I'm adventurous and honest and extremely sociable. My family which includes my parents, Ken and Jill, my brother Brian and my two sisters, Kerri and Kristen live very close and we see each other a lot. This year I decided to take a couple of semesters off to pursue an Au Pair position overseas.

PHILOSOPHY

Its hard to pinpoint it exactly because it constantly makes slight adjustments. However, for right now my philosophy is to enjoy every drop of life. Maybe its my young perspective but I truly live to enjoy every second. Life is interesting and I want to be an expert on it.

Hmmmm...
I love records, dancing, laying in hammocks, hiking biking, singing and arts and crafts. I don't like to study!! I like making kites and occasionally making lamp shades. I really like lamps...I don't know why, I just do.Okay!?

My favorite author is John Irving.
He wrote Hotel New Hampshire, and Owen Meany. Soooo good!!
Also "Lonesome Dove," is a fav. Its a great western about driving Cattle to Montana. Cowboys and Indians. And cooking grool on an open fire.

A couple of weeks a go I saw a comet shoot through the atmosphere. It was Bright orange and yellow and it was huge. It was amazing!!!!
