Hi! My name is Kent and my friend Tooee and I are currently embarking on an adventure of a lifetime, spending nearly four months driving from London to Mongolia in our little 1.2 litre hatchback! We are taking a massive detour and heading towards Morocco, Africa first! Apart from many countries in Europe, we will be visiting Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing offers a far more diverse experience in accommodation than traditional methods. Not only do you get to meet amazing people, but get local knowledge and tips on where to go and what to see.

What I want to get from couchsurfing is to meet hosts who have amazing experiences to share or stories from themselves or even from other couchsurfers, things that enrich lives.

Interests

Travelling of course would have to be my main interests! I have been to some amazing places like Peru, Tibet, Italy and many more, but there is and always will be somewhere new to go!

I also am a big music fan and have a broad range of tastes and an open mind to new sounds. I love live music and was fortunate enough to experience Glastonbury in June this year!

Other interests are Movies and TV series, anime, reading, rugby league and cooking!

Oh, I also like a drink or three!

I have way too many music artists that I like and admire but some off the top of my head now would be Nirvana, Crowded House, Tupac, Biggie, The Cure, Fugazi, Rage Against The Machine, Little Dragon, Rakim, Eric B, The Foals, The Who, Alison Wonderland, The Roots, Flume.

My favourite movies would include Requiem for a Dream, Basketball Diaries, Zoolander, The Shawshank Redemption, Seven Samurai, The Breakfast Club, Terminator 1 and 2, Dead Poet Society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent over three months volunteering in Peru and had the greatest time of my life there. I also managed to do the four day Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu, which was absolutely spectacular

Teach, Learn, Share

I am more about learning that teaching, for there is always more to learn, and the more we learn, the more enriched we may live our lives. Learning from people, experiences and time are the greatest methods and you can only maximise your learning if you have an open mind.
