CURRENT MISSION

I'm a Canadian backpacker making my way around Australia. I've just spent 3 amazing months living on Lord Howe Island NSW and I'm going back in September. As for now, I have 2 months to see as much of this amazing country as I can!

ABOUT ME

I'm a smiley, happy-go-lucky, recent past-university student with the knowledge that the world is my oyster. Having finally settled on my future, everything else now looks 100% more enticing. I have big dreams of traveling to the most popular and remote spots on the planet, and even being able to cross a few things off the list would be extraordinary. I just finished my degree in Microbiology and Immunology with a Minor in Applied Ethics and I did a foundation year in philosophy. I love having interesting conversations and having my ideas challenged. I feel most at home outside and get antsy in a city. So if you show me a park, I'll be happy forever :)

I want to be friends with people from all over the world, whether I come to them or they come to me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music! My favourite kind right now is anything that makes me want to roll the windows down and drive somewhere with the sun shining!
I enjoy most movies, especially documentaries, musicals, and kid's movies, FORGET suspense/thriller.
Reading is great, I read what I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer I lead a 12 day canoe trip between Nova Scotia and PEI with ten, 17 year olds and taught them how to be counselors.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bake a mean cookie, play all of 8 chords on the uke, and know a lot about Halifax.
I would love to learn how to play guitar (classic, I know), shoot landscape photography (what better way to remember my future trips!), and put my fist in my mouth (just kidding, mostly).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a conversation and a laugh. I'm also a certified personal trainer so I can make you some sort of workout regime :)
