I love traveling and getting to know people on a deeper level. It really interests me to figure out where people came from, where they are going, and to learn more about their dreams and ambitions.

I have had some extraordinary times traveling throughout Central America, studying there, and teaching there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had much couchsurfing experience, but would really like to get into it more, both as a host and as a surfer. I currently have a roommate who I love but who isn't too keen on the idea, but when I move to a different apartment, I would love to open up my home as a host.

Movies: Crash, Iron-Jawed Angels, Documentaries
Music: I really love a lot of different music. I fell in love with reggaeton beats in Costa Rica.

Books: I read a lot of books about education issues! Mostly non-fiction, but I love To Kill a Mockingbird, The Color Purple, and In the Time of the Butterflies
