Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned above, I am a poor college student and I also love meeting locals and new people who know the places I'm traveling to. The experience is made entirely more authentic by seeing more than the tourist aspects of an area. I like the opportunity to immerse in a culture as much as possible during short trips and learn things about the host country.

I love exploring in nature and urban areas. Being out and about makes me happy! I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie so I love all things adventurous. I am generally looking to explore the natural and historical areas of an area and hit some gems off the beaten path.

I love alternative and rock but many other styles too. My favorite books are generally historical fiction or novels. I admit I'm more of a rom com girl, but I'll always sit down for a good action or super hero movie. I gotta say I don't do well with horror movies.
