I just moved out of the U.S. to the Netherlands, to get a new start and see more of the world. I have lots of life experience (including lots of different kinds of living situations) so I'm really comfortable with new environments. I'm respectful and tidy, and a good communicator. I'm very flexible, so I'm open to spending time with hosts and doing activities/exploration together, or just keeping to myself during the stay.

I like thinking deeply about the world and its people, as well as the built environments we've made for ourselves. I'm good at connecting people and ideas, which is a big goal of my travels. I get along with lots of different kinds of people, and I've been described by friends as "comfort personified". I do enjoy helping others, so if there's something you need assistance with, let me know! I'm especially good with technical problems or life advice.

I have had many adventures and achievements in my life, but the "most amazing" thing I've done was my transition. I'm lucky to possess such a unique human experience, having lived both as a man and a woman. How am I treated differently? How do men and women's emotions vary? Who has the dirtier bathrooms? What's it like to go through a second puberty at age 28? How is the human category of gender actually a lot messier than people are led to believe? I tend to be very open to talking about my experience, as long as people are asking questions in good-faith.

Also, skydiving, rock climbing, flying a plane, snorkeling with a manatee, and many more amazing things!
