ABOUT ME
It's impossible to say all about yourself, If you only read the synopsis, the best part you'll miss.
But let's say the basics.
A brazilian girl, 21 years old, who was born in the southest state of Brazil, where all her family is from. Lived her childhood in a hot small town in the middle of the country, and since she was 11 years old, has been living in Maringá, state of Paraná, also a state down south. It's nowadays studying architecture, and staying in Lisbon since September'11 for a year as an Erasmus student now.
I've a sister, who is 23 years old, named Karol, and live back in Brasil with her and my parents, Salete and Roque, since I study in the same city where they live in, along with my pets, a dog, named Dominic and six cats. :) I'm a pet person, but I especially love dogs.
This is my second time living abroad, since I've already spent one year in my sixteens in the United States. Now I hope to travel as much as I can all around Europe, and hopefully get to meet north of Africa.
PHILOSOPHY
"Live as if you were to die today, learn as if you were to live forever" Gandhi. Sometimes one gets in the way of the other, so I try to find balance between the two.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Pearl Jam, Dire Straits, John Mayer, AC/DC, Jack Johnson, classic rock like Buddy Holly, blues, Samba, MPB, brazilian rock, like Rita Lee, Los Hermanos... There's always an ideal song for certain moments, but for that you can get the picture of what I enjoy listening to.
Books: I usually buy architecture books, but in terms of literature the books I read that really brought me something was The Night, Fahrenheit 451, not to mention brazilian literature I read way back in school, which I honestly find remarkable. But it's been a loong while since I don't get a book from this kind. I'm reading right now: Guia Politicamente Incorreto da História do Brasil by Leandro Narloch and Lisboa by Fernando Pessoa. Most of my time with books, though, I spend reaserching things related to architecture and urbanism.
Yet about movies, I love a movie session. I enjoy various types of them, but not so much terror. To list some from the top of my head "The bucket list", "Into the Wild", "Tropa de Elite", "Estômago", "Le Petit Nicolas", "La vie en Rose", "Lion King" haha, "The Black Swan", "The Shinning", "The Perfume", "The Ilusionist", "The Notebook", "Shutter Island", "Across the Universe", "Sempre ao seu lado", "Slumdog Millionaire", "Goodbye Lenin", "Pulp Fiction" and some silly movies to get some laugh out of it, like "Borat", and Will Ferrel movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Road Trip Tour with my family to Uruguay and Argentina.
3-day-bus-ride to the "Cordillera dos Andes", Argentina, to camp during a week in a meeting gathering architecture students from all over the South America. And see the sun rising behind the mountains of the Andes.
Meet the places where my parents came from and find old people in the small town who could tell stories about them.
Visiting and meeting North America, especially its west wild side. Like seeing a geyser going off.
First time I saw snow. Go snowmobiling. Go icefishing.
Swimming in the sea of Buzios with my sister and finding out lots of turtles around us.
Build a tree house with friends when kid.
To love and to be loved back.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learn just about anything, from cooking, cutting my own hair, to learning a new language or instrument. I can share many things back, like a little bit of portuguese, maybe share a little bit of the brazilian culture, and why not how to make "caipirinha"? :)
