I am Kerem from Istanbul/Turkey. My hobbies are film-making, photography, collecting vinyls, writing, traveling, swimming, basketball, football and lots of other stuff that I can't recall right now. I also like listening to music in my spare time, I usually listen to Rock, Alternative, Indie, Brit-Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical music... I really like quality music regardless of genre actually.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’d like to know more about people in where I visit. It’s always nice to meet more people, hear their stories, experiences, and what they have to say. I also like to help out people who are travellers like me, be it providing a safe place or giving advices on what to do, where to go. I also hope to make friends that are travellers, so that we can share experiences, stories, even plan a trip with each other!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the band Oasis, favorite song of them is Slide Away.

It’s really hard for me to choose a favorite film because there are so many but I can say The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Trainspotting, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia are in my favorite movies.

Yorgos Lanthimos, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Gaspar Noé, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Ridley Scott are (few of) my favorite directors.

I like reading fiction and literature. Sinestezya, Yeraltından Notlar, Ana and Kambur are amongst my favorite books.
