ABOUT ME

One night, after dancing all weekend, I imagined a man poking his head in the dance hall around 5:00 a.m. Mon. morning, and asking "what are you guys up to here"? How would I begin to explain the passion that drove 500 crazy dancers to some far-off city to dance their asses for three nights without sleep? So, then, how many other hidden universes are out there, equally opaque to the uninitiated, but ripe for discovery?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

dancers have their own couchsurfing network. slightly crazy. i have hosted hundreds, and served countless brunches of apple pancakes or mango-molé black beans with eggs & chorrizo, late-night pad thai, ... i have slept on dozens of couches across the u.s. & canada from seattle, wa; to virginia beach, va.

Swing dancing, blues dancing, contact improv, a little tango, rock climbing, vipassana (meditaiton), bike-riding, writing poetry (or being written by it), poetry SLAMs, community art projects, and exploring my home city (San Francisco) for out-of-the-way experiences.
