ABOUT ME

I am very involved in the fine arts but also love sports and various outdoor activities. Languages are a passion of mine too, I am a native English speaker, am fluent in French and am currently studying Italian & Spanish. Culture and history are fascinating but to be honest, I could go on all day, I just really love to learn and have an insatiable curiosity!
As far as personality is concerned, I am fairly laid back and am an optimist through and through. I can be stubborn and competitive but it is all in good fun. I am open minded, very independent and almost always smiling.

PHILOSOPHY

Work to live, don't live to work. & Everything in Moderation.

Basically, I understand that to get anywhere worthwhile you'll have to work hard. However, we only get one life and I want to take time to enjoy the time I have - you know, smell the roses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This was recommended to me by my roommate when I asked him if he knew of a fun and interesting way to travel. I am very excited about this, I love meeting new people and learning all about their different stories and cultures.

CLIMBING!...and Fine Arts, architecture, sports, classical literature, culture, languages, nature, cooking, music, theater, traveling, movies....I am finding it hard to think of things that don't interest me...I'm not particularly fond of computers, scary movies or pineapple. That is about it really, otherwise I am up for pretty well anything.

Pretty open minded and love to explore everything. Only thing I'm not up for is Heavy Metal & horror movies (bit of a chicken :P )

Sat 30 feet away from a live cougar while treeplanting/rock climbing in BC. Absolutely beautiful animal, incredibly intimidating but what an amazing experience.

Let's see....I paint, draw, do sculpture (anything in the fine arts really) I can do some basic carpentry and if anything is ever in need of repair I will find a way to fix it, hahah somehow. If you ask a question, I will do my best to answer it. If you have something you find interesting, I want to learn about it. :)
