ABOUT ME
About to be updated - currently travelling and trying to find a home! We both love the outdoors and miss the mountains, enjoy walking, cycling and pubbing. We're both very laid back, have pretty crass senses of humour and are generally open-minded.
PHILOSOPHY
Balance and moderation in all things - particularly finding a balance between doing what we enjoy now, and ensuring that we are giving ourselves the security to enjoy ourselves later. See work as a means to an end, not something that defines us. Believe in tolerance and being able to joke about anything - nothing should be sacred or above question.

Music, Movies, and Books
We like a ton of stuff, but we both enjoy prog rock particularly Blackfield and Porcupine Tree (saw them both live this year - hurrah!), modern rock, industrial/ebm, a mix of old and new pop and everything in between - he's a mad New Model Army fan too. Film-wise we like most genres as long as the quality is good. British comedy (particularly if Simon Pegg is involved), good action movies, good drama (Mike Leigh is a favourite for him). Other favourites include Wong Kar Wai, David Lynch, Chan Wook Park, Terry Gilliam.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving and walking through the natural areas of the Czech Republic was pretty amazing, as was the first time seeing a desert in Dubai - I think a lot of it comes down to context, and some of the best experiences have just been road trips back in New Zealand with a bunch of close friends, or standing on top of a mountain and having a clear 360 view in all directions - or walking through an underground river near Christchurch. There's a lot of natural beauty out there and we want to see more of it :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Not sure how much we can teach - she could teach (and already does) beginner through advanced belly dancing. We could teach a bit of cooking, he enjoys indian cooking and has been learning to roast and grind his own spices but is by no means an expert.
We can teach you how to make a NZ-style flat-white espresso coffee. If you're British, we practically insist. Our other skills are probably less practical but if anyone wants to learn how to use Photoshop or do multi-agency strategic planning we can probably lend a hand!
