Well, although I grew up in New Jersey, Ive lived in Massachusettes and Ireland since . After I finished my post-grad at university in Massachusetts I decided to take a different route than the traditional 9 to 5 job, and ended up as an Au Pair as a means to live in a country I love and have always wanted to live in! After returning to the states,NYC area, I was able to get work back in Ireland for an international nonprofit in Dublin so here we are. :)

Okay well that is my brief backstory...I guess other things you would need to know would be that I am outgoing, flexible, and open to new experiences.

As a traveler I would say that while I will stop by the "tourist" spots, I always will forgo those for more authentic experiences.

After joining 2 years ago, I have to say it's been a collection of weird and wonderful experiences. I encourage those around me to do it and hope that I can host myself when I have my own place.

I am open and eager to meet people from all walks of life. I feel very fortunate that I have come to know so many people from different countries, faiths, and life experiences and couch surfing is a way to continue to do that and see a new country. In my experiences traveling, the most memorable and authentic experiences have been in places I wouldn't have found in a guidebook.
