About Me

Born in raised in the flat plains of North Dakota, on the border of Minnesota. Small-town community, but only so much to actually explore. So, many years later, I'm taking a leap of faith in various areas of life. To see where the winds of change take me, to continue expanding my mind and consciousness, to explore the different flavors that are all encompassed in our land of freedom, whether people, views, or literal food. Also on my quest to find that "spark" that ignites my fire, to write (rewrite) my own story, and hopefully find more of which are "of my tribe." Free-flowing, free spirited, open minded, knowing the world's an awesome place that can ONLY GET BETTER, not taking life too seriously, and knowing that we don't ever really "die", just transform...that sorta tribe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some variables include: being in current free flow mode, means I'm uncertain of where I want to plant roots. This gives me a taste of the local community/city whilst not necessarily signing onto something too fast I may have regrets about later. Getting to meet new people, whom, just the idea of being nice enough to lend out a couch to someone is still a little mind blowing to me presently, but awe-inspiring and commemorating.

I am respectful of boundaries, rules, and in general clean up after myself and a little more than that. I won't be shy to help where or asked if needed. And of course, The Golden Rule.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is a very wide spectrum, cliche as it sounds but the truth. Every song, artist, melody, plays it's part for just the right moment, or whenever it's needed.

Movies are a hard one to come by nowadays, not that I don't have time, just very, very far and few between. Can't really say I have a favorite-favorite movie. Again, a wide spectrum though.

Books include, not necessarily "Self-Help", but I enjoy ones that expand the mind in consciousness in a spiritual format. Ie. Gary Renard, Eckart Tolle, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dolores Cannon, Marianne Williamson, Gregg Bradden, etc. There's so many different perspectives on spirit and life in general, that no person can be wrong. I just take what resonates more with myself. If it brings me peace, contentment, and happiness, then I like it. I also enjoy different philosophies as again, I don't feel there is an absolute right or wrong. Just love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the current venture I'm on, would be at the top of that list. I shed so much to be able to uproot and just go, that in all reality, my hopes are to inspire people in some way or form (specifically those who aren't content in a commonplace routine, as they haven't found the one for themselves yet), that they can take a big step into the unknown, and see where it takes them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing the human experience. Open to all forms of knowledge, though what can I teach? Ah, the million dollar question!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my company, words, ideas, thoughts or whatever that will form an actual conversation based on something of substance. I feel good conversation is almost a dead or dying art, and I want to have learned something, anything, from a conversation. I also dabble in the art of cooking.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico
