CURRENT MISSION

I'm trying to live in the moment and enjoy the beautiful city of San Diego with my husband, Alex.

ABOUT ME

We're currently living in San Diego while we save up some money to move to another state. Not sure where that will be yet.

I like quality food, good beer/wine, sharing music, hiking, and playing board and card games.

I can't host right now, but I'd be happy to let you know about local gems or just meet up for coffee or something.

I can point you in the direction of good beaches and good breweries. The craft beer scene here is awesome!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live - everyone is on their own journey and I try to really understand people's perspectives. Hate confrontation, but a calm debate is always fun.

I enjoy listening to people's stories. people come from such different backgrounds and have vastly different experience in life. Love trying to understand different life perspectives.

Creating and making things from scratch always makes me happy!

Hopefully I'll live in many different cities and towns throughout my life. I'd love to visit all 50 states. Still have quite a few to go!

So many!

Some great movies are American Beauty, Jackie Brown, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I like Wes Anderson, Miyazaki, and Mel Brooks movies, Amelie. I'm also a big fan of musicals and documentaries.

I love classical literature and my favorites are Oedipus the King, Metamorphoses, and Lysistrata. Other books I enjoy are Lolita, Catch 22, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Bell Jar.

I absolutely love music. Some of my favorite bands and artists are Joanna Newsom, Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Saul Williams, Peter and the Wolf, Sleater-Kinney, Modest Mouse, Sondre Lerche, Neko Case, M83, LCD Soundsystem, Neutral Milk Hotel, Edie Gorme, Nine Inch Nails, and Bob Dylan.
