About Me

ABOUT ME

I am still a very inexperienced traveler but have always wanted to travel. Definitely got that from my mom. I have a great relationship with my family and friends. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories so when I came across Couchsurfing I knew it was for me. Besides spending most of my time studying and working I am also involved in kids ministry at church. I spend a lot of time at church and consider it my second home. Even though I am Christian, I am very interested in different cultures and am always keen to meet people of other religions. I live in residence at varsity so I am very used to sharing my space with other people and get along with basically anyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open to new music. I don't have a specific type of music. I am a sucker for boy bands though. I have always been. I however also enjoy indie music, like The Paper Kites and Matthew Mole.
I love movies! Some action, romance, thriller. Anything that isn't too scary I'll watch.
I'm also very easy when it comes to reading. Although I like a good novel with a happy ending.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a nature trail in 2011 at Umfolozi Nature Reserve. We hiked for 5 days through the reserve. I got to see a pride of lions right across the river. It was such an awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite good in the kitchen so I would be able to teach others how to cook or bake some South African dishes. I would really like to learn a new language and an very keen to learn the o culture of the places I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am good in the kitchen and would love to cook a South African dish for my hosts.
