I am a sponge. I love visiting new places and meeting new people so I can learn more about their culture, language/slang! and idiosyncrasies'!

ABOUT ME

Sometimes you quit your day job and live out your dreams... you know, GO FOR YOUR DREAMS! So I put in my two weeks and scooted off to Australia with my best friend - my SISTER! After living and working in San Francisco for the past three years, it's incredibly refreshing to get outside the bubble you subconsciously create for yourself. There is no structure or routine, we are living one day at a time - which is so much harder than I imagined. I am a planner and so I am trying to let go and relax. :) We'll see what the next couple months, weeks, days hold...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS community and so far my participation has been limited. I hope to get more engaged and host when I get back to the states and have a flat! Right now I'm traveling and hoping to meet new people through CS!

COOKING, reading, exercising (ha, when I can), KICKBALL, happy hours!, ice blocks, slang, abbreviations, tattoos, coffee, dinner parties, burritos, heaps and heaps, all things cat/kitty/meow/mew, devereux, volleyball, the SF GIANTS... boys that like girls.

ToThe Girl That Played w/Fire (best of series), The 19th Wife, Steal Me Away, Orson Scott Card series - especially Ender's Game series, prefer memoirs and non-fiction but usually read a lot of fantasy and sci fi b/c of my sister and best friend!
