travel as much of the world as possible and make my boyfriend love travelling as much (or at least half as much) as I do.

ABOUT ME

I'm a primary school teacher (as is my boyfriend Steffen) for English and P.E. I never would have thought how exhausting this job could be, but still it is one of the greatest jobs I can think of. I just love the feeling of being able to teach young kids things that will be important for them for the rest of their lives. But the best thing about this job is the gratitude and the trust the kids have towards you.
Since I've spent a year backpacking Australia (2008/2009) I've got the travel bug and can't wait to see the rest of the world. I enjoy being around people and get to know people from all over the world. i love to meet friends, be outside, do sports, read, cook, but more than anything i love travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of mine told me about CS a couple of years ago and I'm so glad I looked into it. I just love the idea of not having to be alone in a foreign place but to stay with locals, who welcome you, who you can share your experiences with, who you can laugh with, cook with and so on :)
we've had a couple of couchsurfers staying with us and it was always a great experience. I like being a host, making people feel at home at my place and helping them out if needed.
Also the experiences we made as guests were always amazing.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm actually very open when it comes to music, movies and books. I like to listen to all kinds of music (e.g. electro, black music, pop, rock, country...), like almost all movie genres (Thriller, comedy, drama, Disney, action...) and enjoy a lot of different books (e.g. Harry Potter, Twilight, aswell as everything by Harland Coben, Jeffrey Deaver, Cecilia Ahern, Jill Mansell ...)

I can't possibly choose ONE amazing thing I've done so here goes:

-seen the Northern Lights in Iceland
- seen the Big 5 in the Kruger Nationalpark
- a skydive at Lake Taupo in New Zealand
- seen the sun set at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and rise at Angkor Wat
- stroked a Tiger
- dived the Great Barrier Reef
- lived in a camper van in Australia for one year
- canoed among Alligators in the Everglades
