ABOUT ME

After competing my studies and not wanting to give in to what was conidered a safe and normal life in my home town, I was itching for something more.... I left home and set of for Israel where I worked in various different areas and fields. Travelled around the beautfil country and saved some money. After 9 months I backed my bags and left for South East Asia where I visited Thailand, Cambodia, Veitnam and Laos.

I continued my travels to magical India where I was initially planning on staying for some 3 months and ended up leaving only after one year and visiting Nepal for a month inbetween. I was flat broke by the time I left India and had a brainy business idea that would allow me to keep travelling. Thankfully it worked out well and now I am back on the road. I started in Brazil and I am wokring my way around South America at the moment. watch this space.....

PHILOSOPHY

I never really understood what the meaning of life is and I am done searching for answers. I think the best thing to do is make the most of every second which for me is to make sure that whatever I am doing, it is making me happy. If I am doing something I dont enjoy or with someone who makes me feel bad about myself I leave and look for something else.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel to learn and experience new cultures and am interested in people and their ideas and philosophys on life. Not many South Africans travel and I will bring unique sense of culture and share some of my lifestyle with the rest of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met hundreds of amazing people during my travels and thanks to the wonderful pheneomenon of technology and a little something called facebook I have managed to keep in touch with many of them. Since then I have had a few friends from all over the world visit South Africa and when they have, they stayed with me and I showed them around. I took them camping and during the world cup I hosted a lot friends from all realms of the world. I have also managed to thankfully stay at a few of their houses as well now that i am travelling and living the good life again.

兴趣

Obviously I love travel, meeting people and seeing different places and cultures. I was a dancer before I left and have learned many different styles of dancing along the way. I also picked up yoga in India and started teaching it back home. I love music and started playing the guitar as well as the jambe. Music and dancing is something that will always be in my viens. Its also a great way to keep active.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Only one??? I have climbed and lived in the Himalayas, I have cycled down the highest road in the world. I have jumped of cliffs and been cage diving with great white sharks. I have been scuba diving and snorkelling. I have met and conversed words woth the Dalai Lama, his holiness. I have trekked around mountains and learned to surf. The list goes on.....
