My name is Kesi and I live in West London, home of Nottinghill Carinval, the Royals and the best curry goat in England. My background is Jamacian, Tlicho and Finnish.

Im currently travelling around Mexico and Central America. I decided to leave my job as an Engineer, 1 month ago to search for something more meaningful.

I do alot of work in my community, I am very social and love exploring. Always have a smile on my face and dont take life too seriously. Just wanna hang out with new people, get some new hobbies (surfing?!??!) and have a good time!

Im new to couchsurfing but trying it out because I can find hostels a little overwhleming sometimes. I also just wanna hang out with people when im in new places, as im travelling alone.

I can be so chill, talk about the universe, energies and the meaning of life for hours but at the same time fall off a hammock in the most unchill way possible 🤷🏾‍♀️ haha

I like to get to know people properly and prefer minimum 1 week stays. So we can explore, hang out, cook together and crack jokes. We can do some spanish practice too 🙏🏽

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I think its the best way for me to meet new people and explore the local area.

Hostels with lots of people can feel like too much for me at times, I like to make friendships and find common interests with people.

Also my spanish is terrible so its an absolute bonus if we can have some conversations in solo español!!

Cheese is life.

One of the best parts of travelling is how clear the sky is. In London I cant see any stars, so I take full advantage here.

Dancehall and Soca are the carribbean equivalents of reggeaton. Theyre my favourite thing in the world. A good song, good vibe and a good wine is all we need haha

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I would love to practise my Spanish with someone and help with English. I live in London but I am from Jamaica. My dad is Rasta and I really like to share my culture, especially dancing!

I can also teach Nippon Kempo Kai (Karate) and like to have a little spar everynow and again if anyone is game. I pĺay football too (i dont watch it) so up for kick abouts.

I paint and draw most days to document my travels. I really like having people add to my book with a few beers and some music.
