hi! we are ketjilbergerak (Indonesian/literally: 'small movement').we would like to invite ANYONE to visit us in our place and mingle with society, involve in our arts projects, or just simply gather with village children here to teach your mother tongue!

ABOUT ME

ketjilbergerak is a cultural activism which collaborates, mediates and gives spaces for inter-disciplinary fields in society which its main purpose is to create a healthy cultural dialectics.

ketjilbergerak, meaning small movement, is the creative project of a group of Javanese activists committed to fostering healthy dialectics within society. The arts are their medium for dissent.
ketjilbergerak is a democratic movement that advocates a freethinking. Rejecting fragmentation, they solicit interactivity between creative practitioners from all local, national and global stations. Inciting dynamic interactions across a range of creative disciplines the movement champions plurality in opposition to the homogenizing effects of globalization and totalitarianism.

we teach children. we do arts projects. we have library and film screening and discussion. so if you are interested, please come and meet the children every Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you can bring your unused books for the children here :)
