🐱 I'm Ketlen, a 30-year-old Brazilian traveler.

🌍 From 2022 to 2023, I went on a round-the-world trip where I did all kinds of volunteer work—from caring for animals and plants to painting, cooking, and teaching English. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life!

✍️ After returning to Brazil, I worked as a Content Writer in the marketing field.

Now, I'm living in France with a working holiday visa, exploring the culture and new opportunities while continuing to meet amazing people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my life, I've had experience with various volunteer work - I've done social work for children, the elderly, and needy communities (favelas) in Brazil, and I've also been responsible for managing an NGO's social media.

In addition, I've had the opportunity to volunteer around the world, doing everything from cleaning, gardening, construction, painting, and reception work in hostels to teaching English, and much more.

One of the most transformative experiences was my time volunteering in a community in South Africa, my first international experience, where everything began.

On my journey, I'd like to know new life stories, taste typical foods, learn new skills, have cultural exchanges, share good times, and make new friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a little about Brazil and the Portuguese language and share good times, full of joy and lightness. For the hosts who decide to let me stay at their place, I can also cook some brigadeiros - a typical and delicious Brazilian chocolate candy (:
