ABOUT ME

Pieter (husband) was born in Holland and moved to England when he was 4 years old. After he finished his degree he came to Portland, Oregon USA to visit his brother Kjell. It was during a week long snow storm that Pieter and Keven (me) met.

Keven was born and raised in Portland. She is finally finishing her degree (after 7 long years) and now is thinking of Graduate School. She always dreamed of traveling and someday marrying a foreigner....and then BAM! It happened!

Together Pieter and Keven love their life in Portland with the best coffee in the world, more micro breweries per capita than anywhere else in the world, liberal minds, organic and local food, bikes and the fact that Portland is unlike any other place in the US...Together they are traveling to Europe in December to visit family and to see some places neither of them have seen.

In 2007 Keven couch surfed in Ireland and met some amazing people, and cleaned their toilets because she is a neat freak.
