I work from home, over the phone. I am married, and have 3 cats and 4 greyhounds (who are docile and sleep a lot). Our guest room is nice, with a flat-screen HD TV, full cable (all channels), a Roku box with Netflix. Wireless is available. About 25 minutes drive to Providence, RI, or 20 minutes another direction to University of Rhode Island. We know the area very well, and are happy to show you around a little while you're here. You can be a hermit in your own room or come out and play, whatever you feel like doing. Our house is LIVED IN. Comfortable and clean, but not a museum piece. Don't come if you are not 420 friendly. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Both my wife and I like meeting new people, and sometimes travel ourselves. Everyone likes to save a buck or two, and we're no different. We like to play video games, table top games, card games, whatever, and like lots of different kinds of music and food. We like to meet people from other cultures, try their languages if we can manage it, and share where we're from. It's a lovely area, especially in the summer.

Interests

I'm a fantasy reader, a tennis player, a gamer of all sorts and a lover of movies. I have two kids, and am their greatest fan, so they occupy a lot of my time, though they are mostly out of the house and in far corners of the world.

Definitely DON'T come if you dislike dogs or cats or if you would be bothered by marijuana.

I like to learn new music from people, or other kinds of consumable culture (books, theater, TV). When traveling, I like to find the most lively pub in the area for a couple of hours, and possibly hike in the nearby areas.
