Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've driven across the country 6 times (when I was younger and didn't know I had to actually pay back what was charged to credit cards! lol). I have found there is so much to see and do in shorter driving distances to home. So my current goal is to travel local, within 5-6 hours, at most, and stay a night or two and do things like explore historic sites, eat/drink at local establishments, maybe hit up local karaoke bars.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was invited to watch the poll results come in by an incumbent state rep on the night of election in 2016 - just because I was in his proximity when he was inviting his supporters. I went, because 90% of life is showing up. I made it a point to go talk to him a few times through the night and it was fascinating to get his take on how the night was going, and to feel the nervousness and excitement of the evening!
