I'm a 23 year old US (Colorado) native journeying around the world for a while. I grew up next to the Rocky Mountains and it has imbued me with a deep awe for nature. I love to meet and connect with new people and will rarely turn down the opportunity to go onto an adventure (especially outdoors).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Recently I came upon a good point in my life to spend a lot of time traveling the world to learn about other cultures, make new friends, and hopefully learn a little bit about myself in the process. Couchsurfing is a way to hopefully meet a bunch of new people to have adventures with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The time I felt most content was sitting on a deserted beach in Northern California...
The relentless wind was playing a piercing melody in my ear. Hundreds of feet above my head the leaves of the ancient redwoods complement with their own tiny harmonies. Thirty foot high waves crashed a drumbeat into the cliff face before me.
And my feet and hands dug into the sand as I saw it all, heard it all, felt it all.

I was a small part of an epic, aimless, timeless symphony... And it was bliss.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to be a very friendly person and very respectful of those who host me. I was born with a love of cooking (especially for Mexican/ South American cuisine) and a need to share my creations with others! If I stay over at your place, I can cook you good food, regale you with interesting tales, and I'm a pretty good wing-man if we end up at the bars. Or if you just want some space, I can do that too.
