I backpack in the Sierra, flyfish, favoring the Japanese-inspried Tenkara rods, folk dance (Greek, Balkan, Cajun/Zydeco), garden. We live in a beautiful small town in Sonoma County in what used to be apple-growing country, and now is largely wine.

We're about 50 miles north of San Francisco. The nearest large city is Santa Rosa, about eight miles to the east. We're within about 45 minutes from the Pacific--Bodega Bay and the Point Reyes Peninsula.

I enjoy meeting people, traveling, seeing new things. I'm particularly interested in sustainable agriculture, small farms and gardens. We have a large garden at home.
