Hello. My name's Kevin and I come from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. I have been studying in Germany since 2017 till now and work part time as a bartender. I am very interested in different cultures, and as such love travelling and have been blessed with the opportunities to see many countries since my decision to move to Europe. I consider myself a friendly, social person that loves both intellectual conversations and laughing over nonsense.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have heard so many good things about it from a couple friends that used it and I thought I am missing out. I think it's a great platform to meet amazing people will travelling or to host such people also. Unfortunately it is not possible for me to host people as yet as I already share an apartment with 3 other persons but if it permits in the future I look forward to.

My music taste is very broad and depends on my mood. I am really into Caribbean music of course but love other genres also such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical and Alternative Rock.

I was an avid reader in my early teenage years but not anymore although my New's Years Resolution every year is to start reading again.

Coming to Germany was huge for me. I had never lived in another country before. I didn't speak any German and had no family here. But I was really eager for a new experience and wanted to step out of my comfort zone.

I give lessons also to a couple students in English actually which is my mother tongue. I am a student of life and am open to learning new things and I also love sharing about my culture and where I am from since most people don't know much about it.
