I'm a complete extrovert who loves the outdoors and will take any chance to be spontaneous.I love canoeing/kayaking and camping and walking. I love going to the theatre, making music, as well as playing sport.
I love travelling and have been to many different countries mainly to visit friendsand further exploration of their countries and culture.
I am a bit of a foodie, who loves to grow food, but missing this at the moment as don't have the space to grow things currently.
I also like to brew and make preserves I suppose you could call me a bit of a modern day hippie who loves to travel.
My ethos that I follow is, 'Treat others how I would like to be treated myself.'
suppose this comes from me being a liberal Christian and my upbringing of love everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whilst away in the Netherlands visiting a close friend of mine, we went to a house party of Couch surfers and I found I had so much in common being with so many like minded people. I felt as I love traveling I should join the fun and couch surf to. :-)

Music - I like to play music but I also like to listen.
Sports I love to run and when in my prime and was a little bit fitter I enjoyed rugby union and athletics but still like swimming.

Whilst at university I even joined the cheerleading squad.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm Dyslexic and I really struggle to read let alone trying to write a profile for this but I'm doing my best.
I'm going to try and read at least two books this year so I'll let you know what they are next year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tried skydiving and canoeing where I'm not supposed to, and happy to share many a story in person if you want to visit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learnt British sign language as part of my degree and continue to endeavour to become more fluent and happy to share the basics with others to break down those barriers between the deaf world and hearing world.
I am also trying to learn bits of the languages to break down those barriers of communication and always willing to learn from others.

I also play the trumpet, clarinet (not so well) and sing.
