I'm a middle-aged guy that decided it's time to stop working for corporations and focus on my entrepreneurial passions. I like to help people be successful in business and life and so do coaching and consulting. I'm working on 2 books. One is called "How to Fix a Bad Boss" and the 2nd is called "Multiply Your Coaching Business".

I'm the kind of guy that is easy to get along with and hold a conversation with no matter what you do or what your background is. Give me the choice between a loud dance bar or a quiet bar for conversation and I'll choose the quiet bar.

I can socialize at large events, have fun and make people laugh. When I get home after that, I like quiet time to recharge my energy.

Fun fact: I rarely forget a face (and rarely remember names). Whenever I travel, about 90% of the time I run into somebody that I know. What a small world we live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's time for me to get out and travel the world, meet new people and experience new things. I've decided that I want to drive from Ottawa (Canada) down and across the US Southern-most States and then back again across the middle of the country. I don't want to be a typical tourist. I'd rather meet interesting people and see what matters to them. Staying in a hotel is a bit boring and not a good way to meet people and learn about local cultures. My daughter suggested I try couch surfing so here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like 70's and up music - usually top 40... I'll pretty much listen to anything though.

For movies I tend to like comedy, adventure, action and kung-fu (to feed my inner ninja) movies. I can also be happy watching family movies, drama's or even documentaries. I've been known to fall asleep in any style movie :-)

Books - I don't tend to read books from cover to cover. Those that I do are usually business books.
