About Me

Hey there! I'm Kevin, a 24-year-old traveler from Brazil who's been exploring the world for almost a year now. I’m passionate about connecting with people, learning new cultures, and collecting stories along the way mine and yours. 😊

My journey began in South America, where I spent several months discovering beautiful places and volunteering in different projects. I’ve worked in hostels, helped with beach cleanups, assisted with marketing and social media, and even cared for animals. These experiences not only taught me practical skills but also helped me grow personally, build friendships, and improve my English and Spanish.

Now I’m living my dream of discovering Europe. I’ve already passed through Spain and Italy, two amazing countries that have given me unforgettable moments, good food, beautiful places, and inspiring people. I’ve been taking my time to truly experience each place, not just pass through.

I’ll soon be heading to Amsterdam and then to Germany, where I’ll start a volunteer project in Hamburg on April 21st. I love slow travel getting to know the local vibe, talking to people, sharing stories.

I’ve known Couchsurfing for a long time, but this is the first time I’m actually using it to connect with hosts. I’m super respectful, open-minded, clean, and always ready to help with anything you need — from cooking to cleaning, or just sharing a good conversation over coffee or a drink.

If you're reading this, thank you for considering being part of my journey. And if we end up meeting, I’d love to hear about your experiences and share mine too. After all, everyone here has a story worth telling. 🌍✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I truly believe that the best part of traveling isn’t just the places it’s the people you meet along the way. I love the idea of cultural exchange, meaningful conversations, and the kind of connection that only happens when you share space and stories with locals.

After almost a year on the road, I’ve learned that real experiences don’t come from tourist attractions, but from moments shared with others over a home-cooked meal, a walk around the city, or a random chat about life.

This is my first time actually using Couchsurfing, even though I’ve known about it for a while. I see it as a way to travel deeper, connect with open-minded people, and create memories that go far beyond the usual kind of trip.

I'm also traveling on a budget, especially now in Europe, so Couchsurfing is a great way to keep going while staying true to my values

Interests

Me encantan las viajes, las conexiones genuinas y hacer amigos. Creo que las mejores experiencias nacen al compartir con personas de diferentes culturas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m super into electronic music — especially house and techno. One of my favorite DJs is Mochakk (fellow Brazilian 🇧🇷!). I also enjoy chill vibes, reggae, and sometimes some good old Latin rhythms, depending on the mood and the moment.

I love movies that make you reflect or feel something deep. A few favorites: Into the Wild (of course!), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Motorcycle Diaries, and some documentaries about travel, nature, or people’s lives around the world.

I enjoy reading books that open the mind — especially those about travel, self-development, or philosophy. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho has a special place in my heart, and I’m always open to recommendations on the road.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left everything behind and started a solo journey through South America with no return ticket just a backpack, curiosity, and the desire to grow.

Along the way, I volunteered in different countries, helped clean beaches in Brazil, worked in hostels in Argentina, explored the Andes in Chile, and crossed borders by land with people I had just met.

This trip changed the way I see life. It taught me how little we actually need to be happy, how powerful kindness can be, and how amazing it is to trust the road even when it feels uncertain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some Portuguese, Spanish basics, or how to cook a few Brazilian dishes (I make a mean rice and beans 😄). I also have experience with social media, content creation, and can share what I’ve learned working with marketing and design. Oh and if you're curious about drones, I can show you a bit of how I use mine for travel videos!

I’m always open to learning whether it’s a new recipe, a local phrase, a new perspective, or even just how you live your day to day. I’m especially excited to improve my English and get deeper into European culture.

I love sharing travel stories, music, laughs, and good energy. I can help with daily tasks, cook together, or just have a great talk over coffee or wine. I believe every shared moment on the road can become something special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my time, my stories, and my positive energy. I’m always happy to help with daily tasks cooking, cleaning, or anything you might need a hand with. I’m a respectful guest, and I treat every place like it’s my own home.

If you're into travel, I have plenty of experiences from my journey across South America and now Europe I’d love to exchange stories and maybe even inspire your next trip! I also enjoy making videos and can help you capture cool moments if you're interested in content creation.

And of course, I’m always up for a good conversation, sharing music, cooking something together, or just enjoying the simple things that make Couchsurfing so unique.
