I love being outside whenever possible. I really enjoy going out for drinks or parties with friends, but also like evenings staying in and hanging out on the couch. Soccer, skiing, backpacking, dancing, yoga, painting and drinking tasty beer and/or whiskey are some of my favorite things.

If you do not understand what it means to be a good guest -- cleaning up, keeping your things tidy, taking your shoes off, respecting others and their space in general -- you should probably move on. My roommates and I have agreed on the rule that no surfers are allowed at our home while we are not there. Some days we all leave by about 6 in the morning and some days it is closer to 9. Whatever happens, we will let you know and you will have to leave when the last person leaves the house. If you're on a multi-night stay with us, you can of course return when one of us has come home :) If you have read this and understand our main rules, please include "the Dude abides" in your request :)

Also, because my schedule can sometimes be a little crazy, I am much more likely to accept your request if you give me an idea of your travel plans. Things such as if you have a car or not, if you're coming from or going to the Denver airport, or how long you plan on staying in the Golden/Denver area. This is important information for me to know before your arrival so that I can make better accommodations for you as a host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in August 2017 was the "Great American Solar Eclipse". My roommate and I drove up and camped in Jackson Hole, WY. We watched the moon totally go in front of the sun while overlooking the Tetons. It was one of the most intense, weird and spiritual things I've ever witnessed.
