I am a history teacher in the US, and I have been teaching English in France the past few summers! I was teaching in North Carolina and Montana the last few years and currently I am in graduate school for political science.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet cool people in new places while traveling! And I especially love hosting foreign travelers and making them feel welcome in the US. And as I live in the middle of no where, I won't get many visitors otherwise.

Interests

Hiking, sports, weightlifting, traveling, dancing, history, exploring and seeing new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music it just depends on my mood.

My favorite movies are Star Wars and Shooter.

I read a lot of non-fiction usually related to history or the social sciences, but I'm sometimes reading a novel too.

I'm a published US Civil War historian.
