About Me

CURRENT MISSION share experiences and to travel around as much as possibile!

I think I'm an easy going, peaceful, open-minded and very friendly person, and I like to joke around, have fun, hang out, listen to good music, read, but most of all, I really like travelling and meeting travellers. I like to meet new and different people coming from different backgrounds and cultures - I want to learn about different cultures and to share experiences with other travellers and so that's why I'm so in love with travelling and meeting travellers. Unfortunately, I can't host for the time being, but it will be my pleasure if you are in Malta and wanna meet (also depending on my free time - but pls do ask); and maybe, as a local, I can give you some useful tips and advice about Malta! :-)

Love the life you live, live the life you love. Live life to the full: live as if you’re gonna die tomorrow, learn as if you’re gonna live forever. And at the same time, it's good to take life with a pinch of salt! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Active participation in the Malta CS Group/Forum by frequently assisting CS travellers visiting our country, with insiders help and tips they might ask for related with their stay in Malta. Whenever possible, I also like to meet CS travellers visiting Malta in person, and as a local, do my best to show them the best places around ;-)

I subscribed on CS, only recently,... but so far, I met some fantastic people from CS during their stay in Malta!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many, mostly during my travels, but I would choose the following:

-The attack by hundreds of bees which my travel mate experienced whilst we were climbing a tower structure in Bundi, India. The cloud of bees which attacked him, was so scary; but worse than that, the scene I saw of him (especially his face) after the bees attack was simply terrifying. The best of it?: my friend luckily survived:) Scoop?: by pure coincidence, when I was checking my digital photos later that day, I realised that I managed to capture a shot showing the bees, at the very start of their attack on my 'poor' friend :)) excluuuuuuuuuusive!!! :)

-India. With all the things around you whilst being there. I mean the setup is like you travel back in time. It's so raw, authentic, heavy, laid-back with the people, the animals in the streets, the food, the street life in general, the chaotic traffic, the driving, the smells, the scenery, etc etc. It's simply incredible and completely different from the Western world.

-the way the Sikhs feed thousands of people everyday for free in the Golden Temple premises, but the best of it, is the way the kitchen functions and at the same time the way it handles thousands of visitors everyday, 24x7 for 365 days a year, and all this, by means of a percentage of the visitors who volunteer and help out so that this amazing kitchen keeps on feeding thousands of people everyday and for free!!! It's also good to know that it has been like this for the past 500 years! The mentality: feeding all and for free because we are all the same, irrelevant of our beliefs, ethnicity and religion.

-the way village tribe communities live on the border between Thailand and the middle of nowhere, between beautiful and stunning mountains, so close to nature and so happy with everything they possess and with each other...peace and simplicity...

-the way people looked at me and at my friends seeing us sooooooooooo different from them, during our 3 weeks stay in Hainan, China. As if we were Aliens or something, who have just landed on another planet! :)) you start realising then, how big their country is as it is a world on its own, and at the same time, I realised how small Malta is :)))

- the beautiful desert in the India-Pakistan border.

- the spirituality I felt in the air in the Golden Temple, Amritsar; and in several Buddhist Temples in Thailand, China and peaceful
