ABOUT ME

I hate describing myself because I tend to exaggerate my awesomeness, but it serves a purpose on this site. I received a solid upbringing from two loving parents and all of my best experiences have been motivated by competition (normally with my older brother)- over anything, whether athletic, mental or "other" (read: alcohol). I'm convinced I'm taller and better-looking than I actually am. I will never turn down a cold beer or a challenge and the two together can make for a fun weekend. I find it easier to laugh things off than to hold grudges. One of my major life goals is to grow a beard; and not some scraggly hippie-beard, but a solid I-am-a-Man-hear-me-roar beard.
I love music of just about every variety, depending on mood, which can be irritating if you are riding with me in the car with my playlist on shuffle. Other than that, I'm easy going and really cool, my jokes are always funny, and I'm ridiculously strong.

Auf Deutsch, finde ich es immer komisch, selbst zu beschreiben. Vor allem beschreibe ich mich selbst als ein totaler cooler Mensch, aber Sie können sich natürlich selbst entscheiden. Ich hab' deutsch und internationalen Beziehungen bei der Uni studiert, und wohne jetzt in der Nähe von Stuttgart neben meine Firma. In Amerika verkaufe ich deutsche Schwenkbiegemaschinen aber bin ziemlich neu in dieser Industrie. Deswegen bin ich für 3 Monate hier, um die Maschinen kennenzulernen. Ich finde Deutschland richtig geil und freue mich so viel wie möglich zu sehen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I accidentally joined two friends from America for their stay in Germany and our host was kind enough to welcome me as well. We have stayed in touch and met up again to climb at an indoor climbing hall some days later.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love the Bourne movies right now, but my favorite movie is usually the most recent one I've seen.

I am not afraid to admit I have jumped on the Dupstep bandwagon, but I also rock out to everything from the Allmann Brothers and Zac Brown to Five Finger Death Punch to Lil' Wayne or B.o.B.

Favorite books have got to be Harry Potter. I started reading the first book when I was 11, and for the next 9 or so years, I lived with the Harry Potter novels. No other series has taken up so much of my life, so this award goes to J.K. Rowling.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have been flown in a U.S. Marine CH-53E Super Stallion from the President's airbase in Virginia to shoot at the Marine firing range. I got to shoot a belt-fed, automatic grenade launcher. Almost nothing compares with this feeling.
