Hi, my name is Kevin I've been able to Couch Surf twice so far. Once in 2014 in Dubai and then again in 2015 in Florida, it was a great experience and I met some great people through it. I'm very excited to do it again in my future travels.

I love traveling and going on adventures. I like meeting new people and embracing new experiences. Im a full-stack web developer working at a brand management firm in Mill Valley, CA that focuses on specialty health food items. So far it's been really interesting and has definitely opened my eyes to how different items find their way into retailers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Dubai in August 2014, it was great. My host was great and showed me around and introduced me to a few other people, one of whom I am still friends with.

I went to Florida in August 2015 for a scuba trip.

Interests

I love to travel and explore new places, I'm pretty much up for anything that sounds adventurous. I longboard, scuba dive, surf, and want to learn how to paraglide. I'm always trying to stay productive so in my down time Im usually reading something about economics, statistics, sociology, or web technologies.

I also really enjoy wine and learning about the wine making process. Im very lucky to live near Napa, CA which allows me to go tasting a lot and depend my knowledge about it. I would like to learn more about beer and other spirits to gain a better appreciation of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When traveling to Spain a few years back I got lost the second I stepped out of the cab. I couldn't find my apartment nor did I remember to pick up the key first. So for about 3 hours I was wondering the general area with all my luggage looking like a complete fool. To top it off my cell phone wasn't working, I failed miserably at trying to work a pay phone and I only knew like 3 words in spanish, oh and it was like 120 degrees out so I was drenched in sweat.
