ABOUT ME

We are a couple of adventure cats exploring the world playground! But currently we are settled back into our WA home in seattle, working and saving for our next adventure. Meeting us is the best way to find out all about us if you really want to know. But if we have to give a little blurb in a text box then I guess you could say..... We pretty much have all the usual traveler, couchsurfer sort of traits, fun, adventurous,relaxed, blah blah blah, but really they are true :P
We love being outside and exploring new places and tackling new challenges. Love the colors green, pink, orange, and purple. Beaches and mountains are pretty much the best places to spend time, forest are pretty good too.
Positive actions, positive energy, we like to be positive.
When we are not traveling and have to be partaking in real life I am an industrial designer with a focus in outdoor goods, bike mechanic, and ski tech and Melissa is a bartender and fine dining server and all around hospitality guru. Right now we are back living in seattle with friends in an awesome house.... oh and i can't forget to mention our awesome dog MOCHA..... make sure to start your message with her name "MOCHA" so we know you have at least read this much of our profile haha
Life is what you make it, so if you are not making the best of it it then your not living to the fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love music! A day without some music is a bad day! From folk to funk, reggae to rock, trance to techno, heavy metal to hard style pretty much all music can be appreciated at one time or another. But currently we are listening to a lot of electronic music, reggae, ska, underground hip-hop, with a bit of other stuff in the mix. But on most days when we can't decide we pretty much default to Pretty Lights or Gramatik. We would love to hear your favorites as well.
We enjoy a good movie and have a few favorites but enjoy the socializing that tends to happen before and after watching more.
Literature, although can take me a long time to complete, is fuel for a wild imagination. Melissa has much more interest in books as she is a betted reader than I. Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy is a new favorite, and we are always looking for a good travelers read that we can then pass on to someone else in the future. Otherwise have to love 1984, clockwork orange, some Stephen king stuff, omnivores dilemma, botany of desire, God delusion, and We will keep thinking on the rest....
all in all, its no use naming all our favorites, just easier to talk them over in person and share

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Burning Man
-Drove around Europe for 4 months in a right hand drive '98 VW Polo named Polly that we got in Ireland
-Trolltunga, Norway
-TOMORROWLAND 2014
-Caught eggs coming out from a turtle as they were being laid on the beach while volunteering with turtle conservation
-Climbed up and jumped off secret waterfalls in Hawaii
-Swam with dolphins in a random bay in Hawaii
-Danced from dusk till dawn in the vegas desert
