I'm a good-natured, intellectually curious individual from Iowa. I like to see new places and experience new cultures, and I'm very unshy when it comes to trying new foods, meeting new people, and exploring new places.

In addition to spending time with friends, I also like to read, and listen to indie rock music.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a couchsurfing guest, my goals are to be polite, open-minded, and good-natured. My goals as a traveler are to experience culture with a local flavor - trying new foods, meeting new people, and going out to new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mostly used couchsurfing while in South America, although I also couchsurfed a bit on a road trip across part of the U.S. Now that I am back from my travels, I'm occasionally doing some hosting.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I participated on a team in the 2008 Los Angeles Urban Iditarod, a race created based on the concept of the Alaskan Iditarod, except that it involves people in dog costumes pushing shopping carts through the streets of Los Angeles. Very crazy, and very fun!
