ABOUT ME

If my best friend was asked to describe me he'd say that I'm "amazing, adventurous, outgoing, smart, funny, and caring." Unfortunately he doesn't speak English and that's just my ruff translation of his barks and woofs. I'm actually a very inquisitive and curious person by nature. I find it so fascinating to learn about different places and culture through conversations with new and interesting people from all over the world. It's so much richer than what I can glean from reading or seeing through a screen. My favorite thing though is food and nothing beats sharing a wonderful meal with wonderful people.

Interests

I'm interested in just about anything. I try to never say no to any opportunity, the more foreign the better. That's what life's about right? Challenging yourself and being in unfamiliar situations and coming out of it with a new lens on life. With that said I spend most of my free time being active with sports or any kind of physical activity. I also love eating and trying different cuisines; luckily I have a black hole for a stomach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite moments in life was on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was 1am and I had driven out to the volcano to see it at night. It was absolutely magical staring up into the stars and seeing the spiral arm of the Milky Way with the backdrop of soft amber and red light escaping from the caldera. This is super cliche but there's so much going on around us that it's often easy to miss the beautifully simple things that are right in front of is.
