Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was living in Chicago and I met this Australian guy named Rob through a mutual friend. He was actually staying with that friend, via couchsurfing and he told me all about it. He told me stories of how he's hitched his way all across America and stayed with people in every city, making great friends along the way. Nothing had ever sounded so perfect in my life! All I've wanted to do since then is travel, and meet locals everywhere I go, and try to experience the world!

Movies: Tarantino, Aronofsky, Wes Anderson. I also absolutely love french films, even though I still need subtitles...
Music: Post-rock mostly i.e. sigur ros, moonlit sailor, lights & motion, explosions in the sky, mogwai, maybeshewill, I also like most 00's indie rock like the strokes, arctic monkeys, the shins, the kooks, modest mouse, etc...
Books: Kerouac, Tom Robbins, Bukowski, Palahniuk, Salinger countless more
