I don't like to put a limit as to what I am capable at and am willing to try anything once. I build, fix and tinker with anything I can get my hands on. Not afraid to tackle any task. Easy going and kind spirited. Flexible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many "destinations" and so many destinations. Everybody sees places and things differently. My goal is to meet people who can share their experiences and enhance the traveling experience. Getting somewhere is the easy part, to know the more authentic and genuine places that may be hidden within them isn't something the ordinary tourist crowd will be familiar with. That's where Couchsurfing comes in. A place to network with locals who are willing and able to share with travelers some of the main attractions and the hidden gems.

Interests

Cars, motorcycles, airplanes, hiking, flying, driving. Electronics, Travelling, Exploration. I am an avid car enthusiast and mechanic. Philosophically and intellectually inclined to wander and learn whatever piques my interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to rock, funk, soul, punk, industrial, blues, jazz, experimental. I'd be willing to listen to anything once that I'd never heard before. I'm into a lot of older films, comedy classics like Mel Brooks, Monty Python, old racing movies ie. Lemans, crime; 7-ups, Serpico, French Connection. Authors are easier than books: Kurt Vonnegut, Aldous Huxley, Thoreau, Kerouac, Jean Shepherd, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson. Off the top of my head.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First time flying a plane. Exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Participating in a winter road rally in Canada. Tough mudder.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a jack of all trades, I enjoy sharing and teaching my abilities to others. I believe that what you are most knowledgeable in and what you are good at shouldn't be kept hidden away. There is something to learn from everything we encounter, every interaction and everything we do.
