CURRENT MISSION

I have temporarily returned to America for 2 years to help my 20 year old daughter get through university. We live together and are exploring Florida like tourists!

ABOUT ME

I am living my dream of traveling the world by working as an international teacher of mathematics & science. I have seen far more than I ever expected and I thirst for more! My "bucket list" is almost completed and I am in the process of writing a new one! I love traveling, photography, and eating but have recently realized that doing these things alone is not as much fun as having someone to share it with.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that this world is filled with pain and suffering and the human experience can too without the love, support, and help from others. I feel that too many people are hurting and not enough people are slowing down long enough to notice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate reading (because I am dreadfully slow at it and often fall asleep trying) but I love music (particularly 80's & 90's alternative) and am passionate about movies. I have a significant collection of my favorite movies (600 GB).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, "amazing" means that I pushed myself beyond my own comfort zone. So, the day I ate a cooked scorpion (the animal I am most terrified of) was an amazing experience. Even though it was dead and cooked, putting that thing in my mouth was a proud moment for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer a friendly, non-judgmental home stay. Depending on the day, I may be able to offer transportation but that is not guaranteed. I only have a futon mattress for guests.
