Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be patient and remember to breathe.
ABOUT ME
Genuine, respectful, level-headed, modest, friendly. Humbled by the natural beauty of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Humans are prismatic, dynamic, unique. Everyone's entitled to his/her/whoever's own beliefs and feelings, heartbeat when they experience something wonderful, whatever amount of grace with which they dance. Life is an internalization of the external, all of the beauty, joy, pain, and calm. One has to accept and revel in the human condition.
I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or use drugs, but I understand and respect their place in other's lives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing, for now. Looking forward to sharing experiences, whether it's conversation over coffee, a walk (or two! or five!), a kind gesture, an appreciation for individuality and a pair of curious eyes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, hoping for more than I can fit in this space.
Interests
Self-expression, minimalism, food, ideas, spontaneity, music, live shows, video games, animals with antlers/horns, walking, cycling, being, the air just before dawn, the little things that make people tick, what makes their eyes bright and the shadows behind those eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies are not my "thing". I appreciate Wes Anderson's work and considered Donnie Darko my favorite movie for a number of years.
Books: Toilers of the Sea by Victor Hugo, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas, Haruki Murakami's entire bibliography, works by G. K. Chesteron, Guy de Maupassant, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, H.P. Lovecraft, various other books I've picked out from libraries and off of bookshelves.
Music resonates very personally with me. While I do not play or perform, I associate strongly with my music taste. Limiting such a varied art form into genres is difficult (like trying to contain the ocean), but I enjoy emo, screamo, post- and melodic hardcore, some acoustic, indie, math rock, instrumental, and punk.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne in England.
