CURRENT MISSION

I enjoy traveling and may have the opportunity to do a great deal of it in the next year. I'm here to meet people who can help teach me about the cultures I encounter and show me how to best use my time in each place I visit, via a coffee or a meal.

ABOUT ME

Over the past year I have been traveling a lot for work, doing extended projects in the US, Sweden, and Slovakia. I have now come back to the USA for my next project and am hoping to either meet travelers or other locals in the couch surfing community.
but this is the about me section so I guess I should tell you I'm an easy person to talk to on just about any subject. I find allot of things fascinating so dont ever worry about boring me. I am an engineer but also a film maker and photographer (wanabe).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the past year I have used couch surfing to meet locals, host travelers, and have also done some couch surfing on some of my own travels as well. But I think the best aspect is the events and “get togethers” couch surfing communities do from time to time. The 2 CS parties/events I went to in Slovakia were amazing and I left with life long memories and made some really great friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted 14 travelers so far (all of which were in Kosice Slovakia). I like to meet up with several locals whenever I go to a new city for travel advice and good conversation. Right now I am looking to meet locals as I don’t think my place is very easy to get to for travelers.

While camping in Ontario Canada we had a great night with no light pollution revealing a star scape so clear you can see the Milky Way. The 15 shooting stars left me speechless.
