I'm a government bureaucrat who loves the American Deep South in spite of the region's shortcomings. I believe in great conversations, hearty meals, thrilling adventures, sublime music, and doing my best for my fellow man (and woman).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best CS experience I've ever had was when a singer-songwriter from New Hampshire stayed with us en route to meeting his father for the first time. We had really interesting conversations about our lives, discussed our beliefs, and he played a concert in our living room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the rim of Volcan Poas in Costa Rica was pretty amazing, nothing has made me feel more insignificant than look in to the fury of an active volcano. It put my place in the universe in to perspective.
