ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person, rather on the mellow side. I like biking, hiking (occasionally), and history. I also like playing in the 808 kickball league and with the Ultimate Frisbee Oahu club.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience started at a holiday party for an outrigger canoe club. My brother and I met a couch surfer from Chile who was staying with a friend. We ended up spending the next couple of days going around Oahu, going to different beaches and things and it was a lot of fun. I also met a couple of couch surfers on New Years, and they seemed like cool people.

Based on those experiences, I thought maybe it would be fun to host one day. So, eventually I tried it out, and so far it's been a very positive experience. I've met some very interesting people.

Movies? I like comedies. The Heat was funny.
Music? Whatever is on the radio or Pandora is usually fine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not too long ago, some of my family and I went to the Big Island and to Maui. On Maui there was this one black sand beach that had tall shore line cliffs. When the waves would crash against the cliffs the spray easily went thirty feet in the air, and I thought that was pretty cool.

What can I share? I guess I could give you a couple of pointers on stand up paddling. That seems like it would be relevant. Of course, I'm also happy to tell you what places and things I think are interesting in Oahu.
